German company building solar factory in ABQ

GERMAN-BASED ‘SCHOTT A-G’ WILL BREAK GROUND ON THE FACTORY NEXT MONTH. THE COMPANY WILL BUILD A 200- THOUSAND SQUARE FOOT PLANT IN THE MESA DEL SOL AREA. THE 500- MILLION DOLLAR FACILITY SHOULD OPEN IN 2009 AND COULD CREATE UP TO 15-HUNDRED JOBS. ‘i’m very excited about this. When we land companies like schott, I mean, this is a homerun for the state.
