Losing India’s islands

As environmental ministers and green activists wrangle at the UN conference in Bali over a framework to tackle climate change, the world — and in particular the developing world — is already reeling from the effects of global warming. In India, rising sea levels have already swallowed two islands in the famed Sunderbans mangrove region, with dozens more under threat.
